Field Trips & Tours Refund Policy

The following discloses our refund policy and practices for ALC Field Trips & Tours.

The aim is to maintain the low cost and flexibility of our programs, without imposing excessive costs on those who need (for any reason) to withdraw from any particular field trip or tour.

Day trips:

a) For cancellations received 7 or more days prior to the date of the trip, the refund is in full except for a 1500 yen administration charge.
b) For cancellations received 6 days or less prior to the date of the trip, the refund is 75% of the tour fee.
c) For cancellations received 24 hours or less prior to the commencement of the trip, the refund is 50% of the tour fee.

Overnight trips requiring accommodation bookings:

a) For cancellations received 7 or more days prior to the date of the trip, the refund is in full except for a 3000 yen administration charge.
b) For cancellations received 6 days or less prior to the date of the trip, the refund is 75% of the tour fee.
c) For cancellations received 36 hours or less prior to the commencement of the trip, the refund is 50% of the tour fee.
